Why are these dry spots and little hole appearing on the leaf? Too much sun, not enough water, something else?

    You mean the rips in the leaf?

      Yes, along the side and the hole + dry patch near the top of the leaf

      They can happen from the smallest of injuries when the leaf is trying to unfurl and then just gets bigger 🤷‍♀️ if another one comes then it could be something but these look okay to me

    It almost looks like mechanical damage do you happen to have a cat?

      I do but she is unable to get at it (it's up high and my cat is very old so can't jump very high)
