My cactus has a problem is seems like the inside has turned to mush does anyone know what is happening? This happened to my split rock plant

    Next time, Cacti also like to be kept in smaller pots,just enough for the root ball. It helps not to overwater when there’s not as much soil holding moisture. Picky plants!

      My favorite cactus soil is almost like sand. Spike & Bloom Desert Blend. (I’m such a big fan of theirs My Planta profile photo is their fun cactus on the bag). It is a very expensive soil when against its competitors - however “The cactus soils on the market today are mostly topsoil and peat moss with a cactus label thrown on the bag. These types of “potting mixes” are not only bad cactus soils, they actively harm your cacti with root rot and toxins”
