Help! For the last few months I’ve have a big problem with fungus gnats in my indoor plants. I’m using neem oil spray, diluted H2O2 spray, and yellow sticky papers. It’s happening to a lot of my plants so there isn’t one culprit that I can isolate away. Aside from repotting everything in new soil are there any other options to tame the madness? Thanks!

    I use these drops year round. It kills the larvae in the soil and helps keep them from coming back. I mix 2 drops per gallon of water. This stuff doesn’t work instantly but over time they will decrease and eventually go away.

    I had a small problem with them several months ago. I used the familiar sticky traps and also got a bug light trap. All lights near your bug trap need to be off at night. The gnats are attracted to the light and get stuck. It trapped many. The gnat problem dissipated shortly thereafter. Just another possible option for you.

    I use the sticky traps for the adults and have changed my watering regime. That has worked for me and gnats are no longer a problem. When I had bad gnat problems I used beneficial nematodes in the soil and that got rid of the gnats almost instantly. I bought the powder online from Nature Good Guys. I’ve read other plant people use mosquito bits or dunks and that works for them. Good luck. You got this!

    Have you looked into nematodes? They‘lol stay active in the soil until there’s no larvae left to eat.
