Was messing around with my plants and checking them out, saw something. Weird in the soil went to put it against a light, long story short, Larry decided growing mold was a good idea! So happy (🤥) taking him to get repotted at the plant vets (plant shop) tomorrow, what lovely money savers Planta are!!!!
this is a generally harmless fungus. however, since this is a cactus, it can indicate your soil is staying wet longer than your plant would prefer. i would take it out of the plastic pot & repot this into terra cotta - no need to size up! you can sprinkle some cinnamon on the fungus
