I just got a money tree and it seems to not be doing so well. I’m not sure if I’m overwatering or not. I’ve only watered it once in the week and a half that I’ve had it. My thermostat is set to 67 ish. Is that too cold? And I keep it on the windowsill but it doesnt get sun burned. I just don’t want it to die please help 😅

It looks both sunburnt and too dry. If it’s not getting direct sunlight. Then, it’s staying too dry. Check for overgrown roots. It may need repotting. Don’t water by a strict schedule. Check often to see if it needs water. I check my larger pots once or twice a week my smaller 2” and 3” pots dry out in about 3 days in my area. I still verify they need the water before adding it. 🪴🍀

Money trees are temperamental. Don’t fret though as they recover most of the time. They are tropical plants. They need water but if you mist him you wont have to water as frequently. They love being misted. I have mine on my patio in summer in indirect light and bright window in winter. I agree with Sunny always check soil and make sure drain holes are draining. Mist whenever. 🙂
