Can anyone tell me what this white fuzz on my string of pearls might be? 🥲🥲

      PPLLLSSS NO.. 🥲 is this like the start of mealybugs? Ive never had to deal with them before

      i believe so, my boyfriends jade plant had them and they looked very similar. i know you can do soaks where you dunk it in water with dawn soap or you can use rubbing alcohol with a q tip and poke at them all (it will kill them instantly. i went with that option cause it was a large jade and couldn’t be lifted) it will take multiple rounds of doing either options to get them fully gone. definitely take to google as well because there might be other more effective things to do

    they’re mealybugs - this is a tiny plant they’ll be relatively easy to treat, just stay on top of it and keep treating for a few weeks. a rinse & a repot wouldn’t hurt
