I can not keep succulents alive to save my life. I have this golden sedum in a small terra cotta pot and water it based on the Planta schedule. It was good for a while, but over the last few months, the leaves turn watery looking and fall off. It was originally in a plastic pot and I repotted it in the terrible cotta one maybe a month ago. It is about two feet from a west-facing window, and I am in North American. Any thoughts?? I want to be able to keep them alive 🥺

It needs a ton of light and probably a bit less water.

Don’t water they daily, only monthly is fine. But don’t overwater them.

I only water mine once a month but my ones in the terracotta pots need to be watered more often.

Don’t follow the schedule without checking the soil moisture. Don’t water for a few weeks, gently squeeze the leaves and if they are soft and squishy it’s time to water. The more light the better,

You’re so right I always check all my plants before listening to the app!! And also I leave mine under grow lights for 14 hours a day and they thrive!! I have a bunch of golden sedums and they love the light!!
