Hello. I have patches of this growing in my croton soil. I just see it in the soil and nothing on the leaves or stems of the plant. Is it mold? How do I get rid of it? Thank you!

    Needs air circulation, to dry out a bit more, and hydrogen peroxide mixed with water and spray it on there... or cinnamon keeps away mold and fungus

    It’s fungus/mold. It’s growing readily because of light penetrating the clear pot. It won’t hurts the plant.

    I just had same issue and found out it’s a type of mold/fungi, generally won’t harm but once enough of it causes plant to be hydrophobic. (Won’t absorb water). I repotted my plant and clean pot with peroxide and I sprayed the roots with copper fungicide and now I’m hoping the plant survives the repot. You can’t completely get rid of it but you can reduce it by repotting and reducing about of water
