Hey yallllll!!! Happy easter 🌿🌱🐰🐣 curious if anybody has advice to prevent pest the spring, i have quite the plant collection and no bugs yet so hopefully i can keep my no bug streak going. any advice is well appreciated!!

SkimbuttThe worst pest I’ve had was fungus gnats. Even mealy bugs I’ve been able to get rid of faster than gnats 🙄 just make sure you water when the soil is dry depending on the plant. I used some granular pesticides to get rid of the mealy bugs on my cacti and it worked great!

MaddeI had some issues with fungus gnats and especially with spring they will naturally appear. Try adding something like orchid bark or something that dries fast to the top so they don't have a good environment for babies lol

RichelleI tried sf nematodes from nature’s good guys—you just water them into the soil—and haven’t had pests all winter!! So I’m gonna add more when I repot soon
