My poor painted lady philodendron is struggling to stay alive. She suffered from root rot so I had to remove a lot of the plant. I've tried putting her in water but that made it rot more and now I have her in a very chunky mix but I'm afraid she's going to die. She's lost all her beautiful pink stems. Does anyone has any advice?

Did you treat the roots with a fungicide or peroxide? That will often help stem off further rot. After you remove everything mushy. Unfortunately they then go into shock, so it ends up being and uphill situation. Just make sure she's getting enough water and light

Yes, I did peroxide. but I've been keeping away from too much sun. Maybe I'll try brighter light.

She needs adequate sun/light to help with root growth. A rooting powder would help too
