Trying to save this plant that has been neglected for a long time. I kind of forgot about it for a year, it was hidden in the laundry room back when I did spring cleaning a year ago. I’ve had it in terracotta under my grow light for about 4 months. It looks the same as it did when first found it. Checked the roots and I see something that looks like new growth, but I’m not sure. What should I do to help him?

Tried to retake better pics. I don’t know if I need to cut off all the brown roots. This is what it looks like after I brushed them off and rinsed them

This is a pretty hardy succulent. Repot in a new pot that has drainage. I use palm/succulent soil. It will be fine. Roots look ok in pics. Let it dry out between waterings
