Something is going on with my tomato plant! Some of the leaves are dying and turning brown and yellow. Ive been cutting some of the leaves off and the very dead leaves off but i dont know if that will make it worse or not..

It looks like it could be blight. Many species of tomatoes are susceptible to it. I would: 1. Cut off all infected foliage. 2. (optional) Cut off any leaves that were touching the ground to avoid disease coming from the soil. 3. Bag any diseased foliage and throw it away. I would also wipe down your pruners with rubbing alcohol before using them on any other plants, as this could spread the blight. Another option is that it could be heat stress, but you would see more well rounded damage on the plant unless one part was blatantly more exposed to the sun then the rest. Hope this helps 🙂

I think it could be blight but im not too sure, i looked up what the symptoms might look like and some of the older leaves seem to not be shriveled but just yellow like the top leaves, even though the symptoms state that the older leaves would be dead and shriveled. I think it could be heat since its gotten up to 90s. Ill keep an eye on it though because I think you might be right, thanks!
