HELP!!! Just bought 2 Pentas today to replace my dead TROUBLE plants (Moonflower) from a local nursery. The first one went in fine. When I un-potted the 2nd, all this tiny, white bugs were in the bottom! What are they? Should I return this 1 plant to the nursery???
You can barely see them, they are so small! I took the picture seconds after I dropped the plant because they startled me.

0개 좋아요 You could try to make some natural pest spray, but it’s a little tricky when their outdoor plants. I would probably take them back or try to get rid of them but there’s also a chance that it might contaminate other plants.

좋아요 1개I would dispose of the dirt, soak the roots really well to make sure the roots are loose and there isn’t anything for the bugs to “latch” onto. Manually remove anything you still see. Get a brand new pot (or wash the existing one VERY well) and get all new dirt before you repot it. Keep it separated from the other plants and apply whatever bug repellent you prefer. Unfortunately I do not know what bug it is.
