Hello! Im in need of some advice. I’m very puzzled by these marks/damage on the leaves of all of my plants. I have one big jade Pothos living in an aquarium with a Monstera adansonii and a Monstera esqueleto as well. And in the same room I have my Heart shaped Philodendron, Golden Pothos, and Whale fin Snake plant all hanging up near the aquarium and they all have been doing very well for months now since spring but in the past day or two I’ve noticed strange holes/damage on every single plant’s leaves. I’ve look EXTENSIVELY for spider mites but I see no webbing or other signs of them. Could this be cause by another plant pest? Or maybe a fungal or bacterial problem? I’m stumped.. UPDATE: it’s spider mites …💔🥀 the only good news is I caught them early before they started webbing on anything. There in the dirt that’s where I eventually found them😭 absolutely bane of my existence I have gotten them before and without fail a couple of my plants die. I’ve used the alcohol/water/soap solution and spray down with water method and more harsh insecticide chemicals but NOTHING has worked. (I’ve recently learned that insecticides don’t work for mites) so a chemical mite treatment is honestly my last resort. If anyone has suggestions for SPIDER MITE EXTERMINATION 💥 Please let me know it’s greatly appreciated! : )

I have these on a pothos I have growing in water! I wish I could tell you anything useful but I also have not seen any kind of pest and most of the newer leaves on that cutting look just fine.
