I repotted my fiddle fig about a week ago. Since then, it’s become extremely droopy. The leaves were turning brown, and it was dropping them. I used a soil meter to check the soil moisture, and it was extremely wet, which is why I repotted it. Surprisingly, the roots looked perfectly healthy. Is it just upset about being repotted? I also removed a few offshoots because the plant was very bushy, and the new growth at the bottom couldn’t get enough sunlight. I watered it yesterday because I was away for a week, and the soil dried out. I thought maybe the drooping was due to lack of water, but it still hasn’t perked back up!

    it's probably still in shock from the repot (which is completely normal for plants), and just looks rough because they're pretty dramatic lol. i'd give it about a month or so to let it do its thing and it should perk up again. stick to a consistent watering schedule and avoid giving the plant anymore shock like a lot fertilizer, pruning, etc. hope this helps! :)

      It’s perking up thankfully! It has lost a couple leaves and a few others are brown, so I imagine I’m going to lose them too. Do I just let them fall off or do I remove the brown bits?

      i'd remove the brown leaves so that the plant can focus its energy more on growing stronger, but if it looks like they're going to fall off anyway you can just let it do its thing.

    How much light does it get? This location looks low light and can be adding to the stress of the repot.

      I hadn’t opened the blinds yet, it usually gets a lot of indirect sunlight.
