Turns out, I’m a horrible palm parent. I’ve had the Chinese fan palm in the black pot for about 1 year, and the one in the grey pot for about 4 months. They have never thrived, always looking half dead. They’re in a room that gets direct sun in the morning and then indirect light for the rest of the day. I water when dry and mist daily. Please help! 😭 I want them to be happy, and they’re clearly not. The one in the grey pot especially has suffered some serious leaf losses.

Try fertilizing and more humidity. The sunlight and watering seems to be perfect.

Thank you!!! I fertilize whenever the app tells me too 😅 And humidity wise, the best u can do other than misting every day would be individual humidifiers as this room is huge 😪
