help! just bought this money tree two ish weeks ago and some of the leaves are turning brown and crusty and drooping 😭 I was told it could be spider mites but I’m not sure… I haven’t noticed any bugs

Connor DI would test the soil for any deficiencies, other possibilities could be fungus or bacterial infection, overwatering or root rot, or even sunburn. Keep an eye out for any of these and you should locate your problem.

PlantgirlyHave you seen any webbing at all? It could also be thripes which are a lot harder to spot! I would start watering with an insecticide I recommend Arbor insecticide as its pet and people safe! Also isolate this plant from all of your other plants and keep an eye out on your other plants

I see that your plant is moist and if you’ve been misting it recently, that might be why you no longer see spider mites they hate humidity!

thank you for the advice!! the leaves in the pictures and some other ones just fell off the other day, does that indicate anything??

Like Conner stated, leaf drop really could be anything! If you wanna save this plant, I would follow the advice
