Anyone have any advice on how to make the glare go away. I made something temporary but i feel like it looks crappy. i’d love to hear people’s thoughts! i love the light i just got it but this is the only downside. It has a 35 watt sansi grow lightbulb.
I joke all the time that my one sansi light (the slim standing one) that the aliens have to wear shades bcuz of that blinding light. And if it’s supposed to come from a window direction it’s blinding the entire room. And I cannot hang it so it is what it is

I have grow lights in the living room where my wife watches tv in the evening. I have them on a manual timer and have it go off for tv time and then back on afterwards.
좋아요 1개 yea the only issue is this is in my bedroom where i am constantly 😭 every time i’m in front of it i get blinded BAD. i guess my makeshift blocker will have to do !

Maybe see if there’s a long, opaque pendant shade you can put in between the light and the outer lamp shade to go around the bulb. Something like this (or a different color):
that could work. The bulb is somewhat small though so finding a size with it would be a little hard but i’m actually going to look into that! thank you

좋아요 1개You could DIY a paper mache cover? They get hard when they dry. You could glue it on or secure it however you did this one. Cute little idea.
