At the base of my avocado tree, there are white spots on the stem. I was wondering if this is normal.

    Can it be wiped away? I’m wondering if it might be a little mold. I’m growing one too so definitely want to follow this for people’s input!

      I tried scrubbing it with a wet wipe, and it didn’t come off.
