I’m pretty sure this is an Alocasia Pink Dragon, please correct me if I’m wrong! I actually found it at Walmart, but they had it listed as a Pink Princess Alocasia which I know is not a real plant. Why are the leaves turning yellow/brown/pink and spotty? Any tips/advice please? Thank you!💚

I would think just general Walmart miscare. Cut off the yuck, clean the plant best you can, new potting medium of choice and tlc it as they need. Love your polka dot!

Thank you! Walmart plants scare me🫣 I’ve found some “rare” plants there before though

I tried to save 2 the other day from there but I didn’t have my wallet and they don’t do the phone pay option. I was glad to save $40 but I still feel horrible leaving them there

If you go through self checkout, you can pay through the Walmart app

It does look like a pink dragon. Is it variegated?

I hope so! Otherwise it might just be dying🥲

The discoloration could be a symptom of a few different things, most likely shock. They take some time to acclimate to their new environment. For now just keep an eye on the newer leaves and you can trim the yellow/dying leaves. Once a leaf is yellow/brown it won’t turn green again and it can help the plant focus on new growth
