this is a Jade and she’s riiiiddled with what I think might be the worst infestation of mealybugs I’ve ever seen. Rinse this reeeeally really well in water with some dish soap and isopropyl alcohol — or insecticidal soap — and then keep watching for more and treat as needed

that’s a mealy bug infestation, not too bad. i would recommend hosing the plant off and then spraying with a castile soap solution— a few drops of soap per cup of water in a spray bottle. you can add isopropyl alcohol as well but the soap should be enough to eradicate the bugs with regular application. i would suggest spraying every other day for a few weeks past once you’re sure they’re all gone.

That’s mealy bugs. Either toss it if you have other plants or quarantine it and treat it with neem oil or diluted rubbing alcohol. I would also suggest physically removing as many bugs as you can.

Any updates on your jade plant? How’s it doing?

Not too bad, it’s looking better after being washed with soap, lost a couple of leaves in the progress

I’m happy to hear it’s improved. Feel free to come back if you continue to have any problems with it
