Does anyone know why my Bird Of Paradise is turning brown? It was doing good until about yesterday. :( thank you!

    Was it up against the glass in a sunny window? I did that once and the leaf slightly yellowed where it touched. It also may be a watering issue. That new leaf should be straight up and there’s some black growth. If you haven’t done it in a while a repotting might also help.

      It’s not close to a window, but it does get a lot of sunlight and it’s bright so maybe that’s a reason. According to the app, I’m supposed to water it in two days. The soil doesn’t feel super dry or damp so i’m not sure 🥹. I will definitely try to repot it since it is in its original pot still, thanks!
