    propogate it in water!

    Trim off the rot, find healthy vines, clip below good nodes and yep, propagate it.

    There are little or no roots remaining to provide water and nutrients to maintain such a big plant. The plant will die before sufficient new roots can grow. Cutting it up as everyone recommends is the best way to save it. You will create small plants of 2 or 3 nodes each. They will put out new roots in a couple of weeks, if not sooner, that can support the small cutting. Water propagation will work.🪴🍀
