The tips of my snake plant are starting to roll in. One of them has even turned brown and seemingly dried up. I used to have the plant in a north-facing window then moved it to an area with direct sunlight from an east-facing window for a couple of weeks. It was more than 10 feet away from the window but still getting direct sunlight for a bit in the morning. I just moved it back to my north-facing window. Was the plant getting too much sun, or is this more of a watering issue?

    Hmmm it does look dry… don’t forget that changes in the amount of light that a plant gets will also impact how much water it needs! Did this dryness start after you moved it? It sounds like you were creating a nice transition into the sunnier room, so I’d lean toward underwatering? Just my 2¢!

      It did start after I moved it to the sunnier room. I might just have this one live in the north-facing window!

      I checked the roots today, and they are orange but firm. I imagine it was an under-watering issue.
