I have a Chinese money plant that has recently dropped a lot of leaves and has bleached/browning leaves. I water her almost every 7-10 days and I have her pretty much touching a south facing window. I don’t think I’ve fertilized her for about a year. I see people saying that it’s a thrip infestation or other types of bugs but I honestly see nothing that even remotely looks like that on the leaves. Then there are people saying it’s a fungal infection which is more believable, while others say it’s too much water and fertilizer. She also has a lot of pups popping. If anyone can help with this please comment!

I don’t think this is pests. It’s likely fungal or edema from overwatering. These guys are pretty much succulents so they don’t like excess water. I’d start with cutting back watering to every ~10-14 days. Remove all the affected leaves. If it keeps happing you may need to spray with a fungicide or another treatment If she is getting full sun pull it back from the window a bit.

Thank you so much! This definitely seems like the issue! I’ll cut back even more!

typically fungicides or neem oil can help. If it’s super infected I’d suggest cutting off the worst leaves and making sure to water from the base. This fungus needs water to germinate so if you get water on the leaves / on the fungus it can get worse and grow. I would suggest bottom water or pour water gently on the soil, making sure not to get it on the leaves
