    Oohhh dang. You may want to unpot it, clip off all of that dead, check the roots, remove any bad or mushy. If you find bad ones, spray it down with 1:3 peroxide. And then repot it. Worse case you could also clip one of those decent looking sections and prop it.... or just cut all the decent pieces and prop all of them.

    Wow your friend has a lot of faith in you 😆 i think this guy needs to go to the OR right away. root inspection, cut all the crispy dead off and separate from anything viable
