My friend recently gave me a propagation of a panda plant and she warned me that it wasn’t doing well when it was with her. It is still standing up so I’ve assumed that it’s still alive but I’m not sure if it is or not. Is it alive?

    Perhaps it’s just the exposure of the picture but it looks a little dark and unhealthy in color. I have a panda and a lower older leaf looked like it was ready to detach itself so I helped it along and tried to propagate it. It kind of resembled your picture. It didn’t make it 😞. But if your panda leaf looks more like my pic, then it may do better than my attempt …. Good luck

      Yeah I took that picture right in front of a window so it had good light exposure. It’s just that dark. I think he’s done for unfortunately hopefully I’ll have better luck next time

    Personally I wouldn't spend time on it because it is either dead or very close to being dead. If you really want a Panda plant see if you can get a healthier leaf.
