Hi, the majority of my garlic is laying on the ground, the tips of the leaves are drying up, and when I checked on one of the bulbs the stem right above the bulb was flimsy. Am I under watering it or is it something else?

    Is the bed in all-day, full sun?

      It gets morning through noon of full sunlight and partial sunlight during the afternoon hours from a tree blocking most of the sunlight

      Unfortunately, It needs full sun or you’re not going to get the results you want.

      I thought 6+ hours of direct sun is considered full sun?

      Garlic needs at least 6 full hours to moderately grow but 8-10 for full thriving. It would be better if it got 6 hours of afternoon sun because it’s much more intense.
