Small leaf yellowed in just a few days, the bigger leaf seems to be yellowing. I repotted a few days ago and put her back in the same pot as her roots weren’t big enough to size up. Whats wrong with her 🥲

Repotting causes stress so go easy on it. Make sure you’re not over watering!

Thanks ! She wasn’t very big to begin with so it’s scaring me lol. I made sure not to mess with her roots too much and the little leaf yellowed pretty quick so 😭

Also I only watered after replanting and I had her for a week before that !

I noticed mine doesn’t like to move around a lot. I try to keep it in one place. I recently moved it outside in a more shaded, humid environment so her leaves can uncurl properly and she got a little yellow in spots just from that!

I bought mine with one of the leaves having a few yellow spots other than that she looks great. I’ve been trying to find her a good spot and I just put her in my daughters room with the humidifier cuz I haven’t got it into my room yet and I didn’t want to bring her around my other 2 plants in the room yet cuz I’m fighting off gnats lol. It’s a daily struggle ! Hopefully she’ll be ok tho 🥲

I wouldn’t be too concerned about that small leaf yellowing. Alocasias tend to drop the oldest leaf when they’re getting ready to grow a new one. But definitely keep an eye on the bigger one if it’s turning yellow

This is pretty typical for alocasias, they are very finicky and any moving around, repotting or new environment will stress them out and cause them to drop leaves. All you can do now is leave it alone and make sure it has bright light and humidity if possible
