Do you think misting will help?

When you head out of town, place a clear ventilated container (a clear orchid pot, an open Ziploc bag, whatever you have on hand) over it, making sure it has both light and air, and that will help it retain humidity while you're away. It's possible that misting may help, but I'm not sure. Water it, put it on a pebble tray or in a container like I just described, and let it have a day or two to recover, then reassess. It will be ok; my fittonia got down to a couple sad leaves 6 months ago and is now happy and even flowering!

Such a pretty color. They are finicky!

I’ve had a couple of fittonia, and haven’t been able to keep them alive.
