Hello yall! This sensitive plant that I have I’ve wanted since I was a kid and as you can see, it has unfortunately seen better days. When I bought her I didn’t realize that one of the plants that I had bought from the same place had spider mites. Soo she was quarantined and given neem. She seemed fine after that and I saw a video that stated that you can cut the stems off of a plant to avoid spider mites or if the leaves are already damaged by them. I did it this morning… did I kill her?!?

Oh nooo!!!! Is there any life green on it? I would put it outside and let nature take over. I've done that before and it worked!!

I live in Wyoming and in a prairie, so it will die if I leave it outside. 😭 She needs moisture and outside cannot provide that.

I wouldn’t have cut off stems for spider mites. Spider mites are easily eradicated by wiping the leaves off and using a miticide in a routine of every 4 days alternating. This plant looks far gone, but I think there is hope. Keep it watered and in bright light. See how it goes.

The issue is, wiping the leaves or touching them too often can hurt the plant.

It looks like it will be fine just make sure it has ample water. I have noticed with mine that one time of under watering killed all the leaves/branches. It came back, just took some time. If there’s still green as there is in this photo it can come back, it just needs time.
