Finally got the fungus gnats under control and then I notice a web with little dots on the top leaf of my golden mosaic ctenanthe. They're little crawling things and they're all over the top leaves. Going to remove the web and spray with neem oil. What are they and how can I obliterate them

    Those are spider mites. Spray the plant off and go nuclear with insecticide. Make sure you quarantine the plant as well so they don’t spread to other plants.

    Spider mites. Clean them off, hose it down, QUARANTINE is a must, get it out of the old soil and clean the pot, start using insecticides like an animal and up the humidity 10x!

    If you're going to apply a chemical pesticide make sure you choose a miticide not just an insecticide.

      A miticide? Please tell me more. I feel like the typical neem oils and other stuff doesn’t do enough and I’ve been looking for something to have on hand

    Neem can be helpful in smothering leftover critters. Spraying the leaves off with water is a good start also because you basically drown them all but if you want a more chemical approach it would say on the can whether it's a might decide or an insecticide. Mites are actually spiders or spider like critters and a regular pesticide for mealy bugs and scale and things do not work effectively on mites.
