    That is a calathea. They like to be consistently moist. Looks like it may have dried out and got dramatic!

    I have a praying plant, very similar… I feed from the bottom

    I had one for two years. Watered it consistently never looked better. I got rid of it because it didn't bring me joy.

    They also strongly prefer distilled water. I use a moisture meter to make sure it never gets dry
