I just found some bugs in my Hoya compacta. It’s my first time dealing with pests. Can anyone help identify what they are? My best guess is aphids but they look more square compared to pictures of them online so I’m not sure. Thank you!

I would worry too much unless you have sick plants

If it isn't one, the most likely lookalikes are ticks and pseudoscorpions (you should be able to look up some reference photos and see the differences with some magnification.) In any case, you can use an insecticide, but if it's a pseudoscorpion, those are harmless to both plants and people and don't need to be killed. If it's aphids, you could also just put a ladybug on the plant; they think aphids are tasty
