I’m sad, friends. This tea plant has dropped all its leaves and I trimmed away extra branches. I’m not sure if it’s dead or dormant for the cold months. Looks pretty dead. 😞 For anyone who’s cared for tea plants, what do you do to keep them thriving? What temps do you keep them at, what kind of light situation, what sort of fertilizer, what seasonal changes do you make? I’ve been trying for years and reading up on blogs for Camellia Sinensis Sinensis care and have just not had any luck keeping them alive. Any advice is appreciated either for this tea plant if it deigns to return in the Spring, or for the next tea plant I order.

I’ve marked it as dead. I just don’t have a good winter setup for these super finicky plants and I wasn’t able to keep it healthy despite following Planta’s care schedule. I’ll try getting another of these when I feel more confident in my ability!
