Help! I’ve found these creepy crawlers in BOTH my diffenbachia and my monstera that I purchased from Home Depot and I have no idea what these are. What are they? Are they harmful? And how do I treat them??

My understanding is they’re millipedes and are actually beneficial to the plant/soil. I think they also eat some bad pests like spider mites.

So glad to hear they are helpful and not hurtful! I was mildly panicked!

They are baby millipedes and are great for soil. They help aerate and only eat detritus (dead, decaying matter), so they will help remove bad roots and all.
