Mishy🌸

My Chinese Money plant has been losing its leaves from the bottom of its stem. The bottom leaves are so fragile if I even bump it a little it will just pop right off. I’m so confused? The leaves on the top are fine and it’s even growing a baby. The stem feels fine, thick and not mushy at all. Is this just something that happens ???

this happens to my peperomia all the time! I think i’ve determined that it happens when it doesn’t have enough light

Yes, I would agree that there would be more light needed. I put mine in a terra-cotta pot so I wasn’t over watering it and I put it in an area where it got a lot of light and during some season changes I actually have a grow light on it. That really made it a lot better.

Mine is the same way! I just got this app and love the advice it gives. It seems like mine might be too far from sunlight. I’m going to try moving it to a sunnier spot and see if those leaves become stronger! Check back in with yours and let us know what happens :)

The bottom leaves are the oldest leaves and will die off. It's perfectly normal

Mine did the exact same thing! I bought a new plant and gave it more light and it hasn’t died
