Help please!! One of our monstera’s had an aerial root that was reaching towards the ground but has now begun rotting at the end. Boyfriend cut it off clean last night and then it rotted at the end again. Any tips/advice are appreciated!!

EvaIs it mushy or firm? If it’s still firm, it might just be recovering from the cut wound, it shouldn’t be able to rot that fast. If it *is* rotting, it would be a strong sign of too much moisture in the soil.
