It looks like it may be overwatered and have root rot
2 likesNo way I’ve only watered two or three times since end of march
0 likesI got it end of march from a nursery
0 likesEven watering it that much can be too much for a snake plant. One of that size could actually go a couple months between watering. Are you making sure that it is bone dry to the bottom of the pot before watering?
0 likesYes I have a soil moisture meter
0 likesMoisture meters aren’t the most accurate way to measure moisture because they measure conductivity in the soil, which can be affected by other things. I recommend using a chopstick or wooden skewer instead. You leave it in the soil for a minute, and if it comes out wet or with soil on it, you wait to water.
0 likesI doubt a dense soil like this needed to be watered twice or three times since march. repot. snake plants like aerated, fast draining soil, not mud they suffocate in.
1 likeI had this happen to a snake plant and it was that I was overwatering it. I took the plant out of soil to repot and got as much soil off roots as possible. Then I let sit out for 2 days to dry out before I repotted it. I now let the soil get completely dry before watering and I make sure the excess is drained out of drainage holes.

succulents can be tricky in this way. it could’ve been overwatered from where you purchased it too.
0 likesSnake plants don't require much water. I water mine every 4-8 weeks. Sometimes longer in the winter. 😊
1 likeCheck the roots. Remove any that may be bad and add perlite to your soil. Water when completely dry.
