Scrape off the mold and let it completely dry out. Make sure your plant is not sitting in water. If you can gently pull it out of its pot, check it for root rot.

It looks like it's probably flowerpot parasol, which is a mushroom that's totally harmless to the plant (humans and pets should not eat it though.) You can just leave it and enjoy the mushroom bloom. If you want it gone for aesthetics, either pick the mushroom when it blooms or scrape the surface and aerate/fluff up the soil. If you want it totally dead, treat the soil with hydrogen peroxide

A few things: 1. Yes you can scrape it off, I have had success with that in my larger plants that are easier to handle in that way (EX not a spikey cactus). One of mine I actually replaced the top 2 inches of pot with pon rocks. 2. I have been trying various fungicides. Arbor has one that goes in when you water which has been okay for short-period killing of mold. Captain Jacks has a copper fungicide in the form of a spray which I have found more helpful. 3. In all, fully removing the soil, spraying the roots off with water, and repotting would be your quickest and most promising option, but depending on how your plant will tolerate it, it may stress it out. The mold does not harm the plant. 4. If you choose to physically remove the mold like in option 1 or 3, it’s important that you don’t reinvite the mold to overpopulate by rethinking how often you water, how good the airflow is around the plant, etc.
