Hello πŸ‘‹πŸ€— I am having issues with thrips, any tips on treatment? I usually rinse any infested plants then treat with horticultural soap, always a bit cautious on using anything hardcore, any tips would be marvellous πŸ˜€πŸ’š

I found little butterfly shaped sticky pads that helped get some of the ones I had. I also suggest bottom watering your plants so the top soil stays more dry. That way they won’t wanna lay eggs. If you can maybe dry out the top soil with a fan or putting them in direct sunlight for like 20-30min. Hope that helps!

Oh, and try a houseplant insect control mix. That helped me get rid of the bugs as well. You do it once a month.

Neem oil and a good spray down with lukewarm water did it for me

Use predatory mites, of you don't like pesticides. I don't think you will get rid of them with just insecticidal soap, it won't kill off all the cycles. Koppert and Natures good Guys are great resources for them. Often garden supply will have some types, but id ask about when they got them and how often they rotate, are the dated, etc.
