I have a Money Tree plant in a very cold area. (Illinois) My cat somehow keeps eating my plants. Is it okay for me to just chop the stems off to the bottom in the cold of winter?

    I don’t know but I think you should put it somewhere where you re cat can’t reach

    I think you should get some tropical mix and add some Leca. Leca is brown ball shaped mix for expansion of roots and to make it healthier. You should take the plant out of the black container and put it in the grey pot. Add the tropical plant mix and Leca to repot it. Depending if you live in warmer climates now you can repot it but if you don’t I would be careful because it could go into shock.
