I’m new with plants and when I got this one it was healthy but some of the leaves died and I took them off. Now the biggest leaf is brown and dried at the end and I don’t know why. Please help!

Brown tips is signs of overweighting/ underwatering or too much light on the plant
1 likeI had the same issue with one of my plants. I put a humidifier right next to it and the problem went away almost immediately.
1 likeDieffenbachias are a little tougher to take care of. I haven’t even gotten one yet. Next time you go plant shopping, I would opt for some type of pothos, heart leaf philodendron, or maybe a tradescantia nanouk.
1 likeDieffenbachia can be a little tricky. Let it dry to about an inch before re-watering and give a half strength fertilizer monthly. High humidity. There are some diseases that can be a problem. I would do a little research on anthracnose on dieffenbachia. I think this could be what you have going on. I guess I would rule out watering or humidity issues before jumping to anthracnose but if you decide it has this disease I would just throw the plant away.
