Hey plant community! I got my triostar back in December and it was doing well up until about a month ago. I made the decision to remove it from its soil to get it some time to heal in water, however, the leaves are still curling inward and looking pretty nasty? Please let me know how I can fix this!!

Did you change any of the plant’s growing conditions? Less light, colder temps, heating etc.? Pest issues? I have two stromanthe and I’ve never put it straight into water so I’m not sure what that would do to the roots. Do the roots look ok? My 2 stromanthe keep getting brown leaf tips and we’re battling spider mites at the moment.

I haven’t changed any of the conditions, I just placed it in water. Maybe I should give it more time to adjust?

Check for pests? Usually mine will look great until suddenly it doesn’t and that’s when I notice the spider mites.

I would try moving it out of water and putting it into something like Fluval stratum— if it is too wet of an environment, that would help.

Semi hydro might help! I have a pretty good experience with it. Good luck!
