Baby green

This is my first Chinese evergreen plant, my leaves are drooping, is this because of watering issues or sunlight issues? Or is this normal for this type of plant? I’ve had to add a uv lamp because don’t get enough light coming thru my apartment. Please help me.

    check the soil. it may be drooping bc it’s thirsty. i don’t see any yellowing leaves so i don’t think it’s overwatered. you can also check by touching the leaves. if it still feels healthy and it’s just limp it’s likely underwatered. it could be sunlight issues as well but since you’ve gotten a grow light already id recommend checking the soil.

    my dieffenbachia does the same when it’s thirsty. looks like it’s dying but really they’re just dramatic.

    As long as it's been watered it's normal, they are not upright plants, they droop alittle. Your's looks big and full and beautiful.

    This is mine. They don’t stand up like most. The only part that stand up is the unfurled leaves but they quickly lay down after unfurling. Mine likes to be constantly damp but not soggy so he’s in a self watering pot and he loves it.
