Help! My drosera has steeply decreased in health, and Ive only bought it a couple of weeks ago. The 3 plant one is from right after I bought it, the 2 plant one is how it currently looks. Lots of dew is gone and the leaves seem to be drying up. I keep them in a room that averages 70 degrees Fahrenheit and put them by a window + 8 hour grow lights a couple inches above, and I water them with distilled water I buy in gallons from the store, what am I doing wrong? Is it the humidity? My room ranges from 50% to 60% humid

    What kind of soil did you use? This needs soil with no nutrients.

      I didn’t repot them after buying, so I have no clue :(

      I assumed the soil is fine since that’s what it’s been growing in prior to my purchase

      Needs to be repotted to the correct soil. I would start there.

    From what I've read, they need 50% perlite 50% sphagnum Moss and the soil should be constantly wet, but not soggy. They do like a very bright light for 4 to 6 hours a day. Good luck.

    this looks like normal potting soil, you need to repot ASAP, the roots are burning. peat or sphagnum moss and some perlite. i've found that my carnivorous plants hate drying out, i leave mine in a tray of water so they stay wet and swampy.
