Hi all! I have had this corn plant for six or seven years and I am wondering if there’s anything I can do to help support its growth (it’s sentimental). It is still growing new leaves and flowers once or twice a year. It’s in a pot with drainage holes, but hasn’t been repotted in probably four years. Gets indirect light all day. Let me know your thoughts! Thank you.

Hi! I have had one of these for years and I think I can help! It looks like it’s getting the perfect amount of light - and considering you haven’t repotted it for years, it probably means it’s due for a repot. I would buy some soil (and perlite for extra drainage) and buy a pot that’s 2 inches larger around and repot it in that!). Also if you don’t use fertilizer on it, it’s probably just working with super old soil that has absolutely no nutrients left, so if you don’t wanna go thru a repot (which I recommend you do) then start using fertilizing every 2 weeks or so.
