Curious about my bamboo… I’ve always kept it in water - recently it ran out for a few days, but I caught it and refilled with water. I noticed the stalks look ever so slightly wrinkled and there are some of the leafs yellowing. In my previous experience this has been the beginning of the end. Any tips? Have I don’t something irreparable? Or anything I can do to bolster and get them happy again? Do I peel off the yellowing leaves? Thanks for your guidance on something maybe very simple… 🙏 🌱

    Either adjust your water or it could be nutrient deficient. Oh and definitely look out for tiny pests!

      I will Google for bamboo nutrients! I couldn’t see any pests. Do u think it still helps to spray with something?

      Are you giving them nitrogen? Bright but indirect light? Tap water can hurt them too, use distilled, filtered, or simply just rainwater. My plants love rainwater lol

      You could probably find some fertilizer easy on Amazon just look at reviews!

    Trim the yellow leaves, they won't contribute to photosynthesis-but if you keep up with water/needs it should be just fine!

    Hello all! A quick update… I pulled off the yellow leaves, but the very top part of the straight bamboo is yellow and starting to shrivel much more dramatically. Can it be saved or is it too late once it starts? Do I cut it with sanitized pruners and dip it in wax? Help please 🙏 Thank you
