Hello. This isn't about the norm for this chat. I'm so upset! Some terrible person in the maintenance crew for our subdivision decided to cut my purple spiderwort down 2 weeks ago. It is coming back to life but looks nothing like before. Instead of complaining, this time I sat on my patio with my camera on record sipping my coffee. When the guy came by with his weed waker, he gave me a weak smile and said hello. I don't play about my plants. I work hard to keep them healthy and beautiful. I deserve respect for my property. See the before and after. (Don't mind the gorgeous model on the 1st. ).

    😲😲😲😳 I'm so sorry.. I would be upset too!! Maybe he thought they were weeds. They don't look like weeds. Ask him why he did that so he doesn't do it again.

    Oh i just noticed they're in a pot so he could not have thought they were weeds. WOW!! Yeah i would definitely ask him why...

      They're a-holes. They're don't speak to residents. I stood outside this morning when they mode. Was holding my coffee in 1 hand and my phone on record in the other. They saw me after a minute, smiled sheepishly, said hi and promptly left my yard.

    I was giving the lawn guy the benefit of the doubt until I realized it was a POTTED PLANT - not in the ground. Rude and unacceptable !!

    Ummmm that’s destruction of property. I’d let the property management know that if they don’t handle this immediately that you’ll be contacting law-enforcement. Doesn’t matter that it’s just a plant, it’s your plant that is clearly in a planter.
