I have a Florida beauty that I water twice a month. I put her in the shower for a few minutes, and let her drain through the drainage holes. This appeared on a leaf a few days ago. Does that indicate under watering or over watering? She has a lot of recent healthy leaf growth! 🌱

Whitish-yellow dry spots on your Florida Beauty are likely underwatering, not overwatering. Keep the soil evenly moist, water when the top 2–3 inches are dry, and don’t worry — new growth looks healthy.

I unfortunately butchered mine because it wasn’t getting enough sun and that caused it to sit in water. It showed yellowing leaves that were super soft. Never noticed anything like this with over watering!
